The INTO mini 7s football and hurling/camogie will take place on Thursday, 30th March.
Note that a child may only participate in one code.  Note also the different age limits that apply to these competitions.  There is a one hop, one solo rule also in effect for these competitions.
Please do not enter a team and withdraw late – this has cost Cumann na mBunscol over the years as we have to pay referees whether teams turn up or not.
Entries by next Tuesday, 21st March, fixtures to issue after that.

Girls Football: Monaleen NS

**Special word of congratulations to Gaelscoil Chaladh an Treoigh, first-time winners at this level. Gaelscoil played in the ‘C’ Division of the City 15-a-side football leagues, which makes their victory in the City 7-a-side ‘A’ championship all the more satisfying.

2015 Mini Sevens
The Limerick City Division of Allianz Cumann na mBunscol INTO Mini Sevens will take place at Mungret St Paul’s GAA Club on Thursday, 26th March. (UL unavailable).
See below for the running order/ fixtures for the day, the Mini Sevens playing rules and a Registration Form to complete and bring on the day with the names/ dates of birth of the players and the school enrolment numbers (3rd to 6th Class, boys & girls separately for boys & girls competitions).

Here are a couple of reminders:
– Games will be 7 mins a half with unlimited substitutions.
– The games will run in a round robin format with no final. Although score difference may be taken into account, it is important to remember that these are primary school games and schools should show fair play in the event of mismatched games. The only final will be in boys football (between the 2 group winners).
-Please do not withdraw teams at short notice, as, for many reasons, this is very unfair to everybody involved.
– It is important to arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to your first game.

Re: Boys & Girls Football finals 2014 (City Division)

(Click the following link) Fixtures for City Schools Football finals

Congrats to all schools who have reached the City Allianz Cumann na mBunscol finals (Tues., Oct 21)  in the Gaelic Grounds. Please note the following regulations imposed by the Gaelic Grounds Committee. It is important that these six  rules are followed to ensure we will have access to the stadium in the future. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY…

1. Matches begin at 09.55.  We must finish our schedule of games by 14.45. Six of our seven finals will be played on the day. As Monaleen are involved in both Under 13 and Under 11 Girls finals, involving an overlap of players, the Under 11 Girls final is refixed for a later date.
2. The first game must start on schedule. Otherwise, all the following games will be running late, which causes huge difficulties with bus companies/parents taking time off work etc.
3. All teams, parents and supporters must enter the stadium by the Clareview entrance at the back of the stadium. This is around at the end of the Uncovered stand. There is a car park there that can accommodate all the buses. Spectators can then enter the Mackey stand through this car park. No one will be admitted by the Ennis Road entrance and any bus that parks on the Ennis Road will be clamped. Please inform bus drivers and teachers supervising spectators of this new regulation.
4. All spectators must be seated in Mackey stand and be adequately supervised. The shop will open especially for those watching the games. Donie from the Gaelic Grounds advises that the Gaelic Grounds’ insurance does not cover any accidents that  occur among children watching schools’ games. Once again, inform the teachers supervising the spectators of this.
5. Only teachers/club coach are allowed on the field during the games. Under no circumstances should parents be allowed access to the pitch especially after the game.
6. All trophy presentations are to be made in the Mackey Stand. If you have a trophy from last year in the school please ensure it is the stadium before the relevant final.

After all that, the City Board hopes that every player enjoys their big day and put on an exhibition of free-flowing football  (No blanket  defences!!!)

emailed back to or posted along with the school
registration form/ fees to Paul O’Connor, Patrickswell N.S., Patrickswell,
Co.Limerick. Many of the competitions will commence next week (cf.

Halloween break it is important the competitions start on time. It is up to
teachers to contact one another regarding scheduling matches etc. Please
note that the wearing of gumshields is now mandatory in all matches and
training sessions.
The age limits for the the competitions is as follows.
