These schools will participate in a series of round robin matches to decide the 2015 County Championship (in Caherconlish, on March 20th)

Limerick’s Green and White Magazine was named Best National Publication at the Cornmarket/Cumann na mBunscol National Awards Ceremony which was took place in Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim this weekend.
Pa Ryan has been in touch to say that the Mini 7s football fixtures scheduled to take place on Feb. 27th have been cancelled due to the unavailability of facilities at U.L. The games will be played at a later date…

It was a night of ‘doubles’ for the West in the Gaelic Grounds tonight! Not only did the boys and girls of the West manage to win the two interdivisional titles on offer, but some spectators thought they were seeing double when the Larkin Shield was presented to Joint Captains of the West, Anna and Maura Shine from Glin!
West Limerick defeated Limerick City by 2-06 to 1-03 to claim the 2014 Larkin Shield (Inter-Divisional Primary School Girls Football County Championship). West Limerick defeated East Limerick by 1-06 to 0-07, in the 2014 Sarsfield Cup final, played under lights in the Gaelic Grounds this evening. East Limerick were well on top in the first half and lead by 0-06 to 0-03 at half time.
